Everyone has a view on who should play but once the 11 is selected, everyone gets behind all the guys including those that they don't rate. We want the team to win at the end of the day.

BERGKAMP Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 My two cents is right, Bhajji is a coward who does the minimum required to keep his place in the team. He does not have the balls to go to that next level where you flight the ball and play mind games with the batsman to get his wicket. Instead this Bhajji just chucks darts and gets by on his economy rate which pleases some but overall is very detrimental to the team as he is just playing the batsman in to launch assaults at the death as m2c says. He is still living off the glory of 2001, and instead of that time being the start of an upward curve in his career, it was the peak and has been all downhill and sideways since.

He was okay but the argument that he is economical so it's ok is just dumb especially considering he hardly bowls during the power play overs so he's expected not to leak runs! Munaf Patel bowled most of his overs during the power plays so he was more expensive but he also took 3 wickets. That's the job of your best bowlers. Harbhajan would glady go for 4/5 and over if it meant he would pick up 3/4 wickets in a match and so would the captain.

A year outside the team did wonders to his bowling in 2001 when he returned against Australia. Dropping him from ODI's would be a good start.

No wonder all the captains have him in the team. They know fully well what his utility as a player is in the team. But hey like he has business deals with MSD, during the IPL he might have struck a deal with Raina too. And why stop there. We may discover that Kirsten and now Fletcher too are his business partners. :--D
