And once again, nobody absolved the rajputs, but of course I'm too stupid to realize that every soldier and Hitler held the exact (more on the soldiers side may be) responsibility for the holocaust. At least the difference is I didn't use jesus about 100 times and get pissed when some brilliant mind does the same thing as some idiot ie mixing topics.
yawn.

Not vassals, not coerced but very much eager allies. Baseless claim Mughal and rajputs relation were so tense that every time some Rajput king used to die mughals used to stake their claim on kingdoms. Yes couple of rajputs did alli with mughals and even they were just being pragmatic. Under-current of coercion was present everywhere.

BTW whihc crime we are talking about here of Rajput, I am afraid it has something to do with retaliatory action and not showing Buddha like resolve for inaction.

BTW whihc crime we are talking about here of Rajput' date=' [/quote'] For letting their religion down by aligning with those Islamic barbarians for petty personal gains. Keep in mind , we are talking about 100X army strength of Hindu rulers if X equals number of muslim invaders.

Not baseless claim- Rajput and Mughal records themselves prove that many of the Rajputs were ALLIED to mughals because Mughals helped them conquer/dominate rival Rajput rulers who refused to submit to the Mughals. There was no coercion present in many cases. But a typical fundie hindu like you cannot swallow the fact that Rajputs were very much collaborators with the Mughals out of their OWN DESIRE to dominate Rajputana. This whole idea that there was a coordinated hindu rebellion against the muslim rulers all over India is patently false. Most didn't give a hoot what happened to rest of India as long as their part was fine & dandy. And most didn't give a hoot about other non-muslim rulers either. While the memory of India's glory under the successive Mauryan,Gupta, Pala & Chola empires lingered, no region was willing to bow to another as would be necessary if there was to be an empire ( the capital has to be in someone's land- and that land is going to be perceived as the 'top dog'). Right after the Rajputs expelled the Mughals from Rajputana ( the Rajput collaboration ended with Aurangzeb's coronation as Aurangzeb excluded ALL hindus from his adminitration and they waited decades till Aurangzeb died & then fought a depleted mughal army out of Rajputana), they had to face the Marathas who were pillaging the Rajput countryside. Sawai Jai Singh called a conference of Rajputs to face the Marathas but again, they were too disunited and didn't give a hoot except for their petty kingdoms. This is the reason why Rajputs didn't give a frack about the Marathas when they got crushed by Ahmed Shah Abdali in Panipat III ( only ONE rajput minor ruler- Suraj Mal, was at P-III. every other Rajput stayed home & let the marathas burn). Sorry but Rajput kings were great warriors and under the army of various empires, they performed with distinction but they were the most narrowminded rulers politically and didn't give a frack about anything but Rajputana. Sad fact is, muslim invasion of India was a failure on our part to unite India and continue the longstanding tradition of an 'Indian empire' once the Pal Empire fell. Even the Vijayanagar & Chola empires wernt as significant as the Pal empire or the empires before Pal - Vijayanagar controlled only south of river Krishna ( less than a third of India) & Chola empire was less than half of India too ( they had the same boundaries as Vijanagara + Kalinga + Bengal and the rest of their territorry was in Sri Lanka, Indonesia & Malaysia).

KR can you point out what were the "Petty Gains" also I would like to see the list of Rajput rulers that went for those said "Petty Gains"
If you wish for names of the long list of Rajputs who were mughal collaborators, give me a couple of days and i will supply the info. Petty gains would be little piece of Rajputana. Thats all the rajputs ever cared about. The Rajputs hunted their own down to help the mughals thanks to their collaborations !
And if you now realize thru hindsight that they(the Rajputs) did a mistake by letting down their religion and/or not being united under the Banner of "Hinduism" why do you see a problem when Me and DR propose a similar theory to deal with the same nonsense
But Hinduism has never been united under one banner. Hinduism is too diverse to be effectively united under one banner. And hindsight is always 20/20. Rajputs had no way of predicting the outcome of their age-old petty gains would result to that. And i'd prefer hindus never unite under a banner as un-hindu and ignorant as the one represented by the likes of you and D_R. They might as well turn muslim- that'd be more honest than following some false propaganda and misinterpretations of hindu texts peddled as hinduism by the VHP/RSS types.
