This is Tit for Tat by BCCI for SLC drama. Now its BCCI's turn for drama. But in the end I hope BCCI allows Indian players. We take the services of many foreign players (Yes we give them money but not as charity but to add glitz and glamor to the league) and we should reciprocate. BCCI employs them for their services and pays them for it. So they are even. BCCI have no obligation towards them after. Infact BCCI does more than just pay the players. It also pays the boards and have rules so the players will still be under the control of their boards. So BCCI is actually helping the other boards. BCCI is reciprocating in a way. Dont you remember the drama pulled by the SLCB a couple of months back? If BCCI was anything like the other boards/former players then BCCI would have, 1. Issued statement that SLPL is harmful for cricket 2. Demand a cut in the profits for SLPL 3. Would want to know why SLPL doesnt coincide with SL international and domestic cricket. 4. Would want to remove the number of foreigners per team rule. 5. would like to get paid and at the same time wouldnt want its players to play. 6. would want equal share in champions league even if revenue percentage is minuscule. 7. Issue NOC and in the middle of the tournament, would want the players to return. 8. Shout from the top of the ICC building that SLPL is corrupt.

An eye for eye makes the whole world blind. Of all the forum's I am a part of (ICF, PP, BC, SLF, WIP and International) I find surprisingly the most anti indians, and driven by hate. I don't find a moderate Lankan (Guess that is the reason that they had such a long civil war and soon will have another) while you can find many moderate and logical Pak and Bd people. So they are fools, and we don't need to fall to their level. Why follow a process which brings disrepute to us too. Rather we have many ways to bully them. Don't tour them for 2 years and SLC will be begging in front of BCCI

BCCI failing in diplomacy. Send a few fringe players and finish the matter. Why make hue and cry over nothing ? I dont think this SLPL will be a huge success in any case. BCCI is only giving it more publicity by denying participation.
