yoda Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 This whole thread' date=' Mishra clearly broke the rules and has been punished yet you all cry racism? How about next time walk off after you are given out and not stand there for a minute pointing at your arm guard...[/quote'] So you think all of us are just idiots who keep yelling bias even when none exists?
yoda Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Erm' date=' yes.[/quote'] If you think umps/match refs apply the laws equally to players from all countries, you couldn't be any more mistaken. There have been instances where Ricky Ponting has literally been at the face of umps like Aleem Dar with not even 1% match fine. Ofc he did get fined on other rare occasions, but he gets away more often than not. Read this for example: http://www.hindustantimes.com/Not-Lara-but-Sehwag-fined-for-dissent/Article1-107028.aspx
Serani Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 If you think umps/match refs apply the laws equally to players from all countries, you couldn't be any more mistaken. There have been instances where Ricky Ponting has literally been at the face of umps like Aleem Dar with not even 1% match fine. Well the incident you are referring to he got a 40% fine, much more than the 10% of Mishra.
yoda Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Well the incident you are referring to he got a 40% fine' date=' much more than the 10% of Mishra.[/quote'] He has had numerous incidents with Aleem Dar, BTW. :winky: Look at the Lara/Sehwag example I added above, fined for running around celebrating and not appealing? Look at this one for example regarding Ponting where he stood ground, ofc no fine.
jairamesh Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Racist decision by umpires. It would have been termed "passionate" had a whitey been standing ground. Bleach boy Broad has yet to be fined despite his continuous muppetry through out the lankan series. Botham on live commentary even praised Broad's attitude to continue questioning umpires every decision. Hypocrisy has its limits.
jairamesh Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Getting hit on the glove and then pointing to your arm guard is against the rules. He has been fined a paltry 10% of his match fee. Fair? Or is this the classic Indian inferiority complex that I am writing a paper on A paki writing a paper!, laughable. You can't even put two coherent sentences together on this forum. It's best you stick to trolling in here, it keeps us entertained.

Era of Gold Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I find people who find it necessary to cry 'racism' for everything are the true racists... Take here in Trinidad for example....all the time they have to freakin say the WICB are intentionally keeping out Indians...the ****?
