Why did the PCB decide to play the tests in Dubai/AD? The wickets are so damn flat that it makes for such **** cricket, it is more expensive and negates their bowling attack. I guess having one 'home' venue might have been the reason but SL were happy to host them iirc. SL would not have been a bad option since the likes of Ajmal could have been useful and it's also marginally better for the seamers (and occasionally pretty good).

exactly, saves them embarrassment of being trounced on proper wicket. At least in uae, the pancakes will assist to ekk out a draw, like the one against SA.

We might have 1/2 retirements by then so we have to see how everything works out but the current full-strength team would beat England 2-0 or 3-0 at home imo.
