All these former players were ra*** by the Windies of 80's and there was nothing more humiliation when they were afraid to go to the windies and in one match 5 or 6 of them got retired hurt!!!!!

I thought Sachin was in England a month prior to the series? What's that about him not having any practice, and why just single him and Zaheer out? The others didn't have 'match practice' in England either. But I do agree about that point Vengy made about us missing an all-rounder.

I saw Fire in babylon and in that they showed that during the 1975 WI series, when the WI had recruited 4 fast bowlers who were breaking the batsmen, Indians had called off a game. And if i am not mistaken, Bedi saab was the captain then. Now, wasn't that meak behaviour from people who call for people's heads!!
