as the time is passing by , the fab four (sach, lax, wall and zak )are getting older and older day by day and looking at current lot apart from few , it doesnt look like that the young ones have technique ,temperment and hunger to succeed at the top level ,take eg. of abhinav mukund and raina ,mukund is a walking wicket against swing and bounce and raina the way he got out ,that is serious blunder in that situation,he hates short ball ,well so does kohli and rohit who are sitting out side, and coming to bowling bhajji has shown us how important kumble was for us.,and less said about fast bowling the better, Bcci is eating indian cricket alive..something has to be done immediatly otherwise say hi to the 90's guyz, discuss what can be done to improve indian cricket.

1) Ensure prospective batsmen have exposure to all sorts of pitches and genuine fast bowlers. BCCI to send its "emerging players" to play cricket around the world with the sole purpose of building skills that cannot be got from playing in home conditions. Why not send players to play county cricket (or even league cricket) in England so that they get exposure to swing conditions? 2) Make players really hungry for success again. Cut their BCCI salary by, say, 50%, the rest being performance bonus to be paid out only if India wins. 3) Have professional medical staff who conduct a thorough checkup of every player before certifying him fit for a match. 4) Ensure players follow a fitness regimen strictly even during non-match periods. 5) Work on backups for every position. This should tie in with point 1 - skill-building.
