Sachin always flops when he is near any big milestone

Ok' date=' let us continue playing the same team till we need to role them in on a wheel chair. That should make perfect sense!![/quote'] You seem to be confused. Clarify your stand: you want SRT to retire because he is 38, or you want him to retire because his batting skills have deteriorated - all of a sudden.

I am not confused at all. I think we should rebuild the team because it is ageing. In that context I said ageing reflects in slower reflexes. Now, if you don't have anything useful to say just move on.

Slowness of reflexes can be measured, if you do not have sufficient evidence that SRT/Dravid/Laxman's reflexes have slowed down so much that it is clearly affecting their batting skills - then you better find some other basis. Btw, with all their 'faster' reflexes what is younger generation doing?

i think sachin should retire with 99 centuries as a homage to the don. would there have been a more fitting tribute in the history of sport? i'm gushing just thinking about it.
It would be in the 'spirit of the game'...

Today's scores of 0 and 1 respectively for Sehwag and Tendulkar prove my belief that Sachin is infinitely better than Virender in difficult conditions.
Did you also woke up in California? :hysterical::hysterical:
Just woke up here in California and saw the score: Sehwag 0, Sachin 1. This shows what I have believed all along, that Sachin is an infinitely better batsman than Sehwag in English conditions.

Y cant he just forget abt his own record and play to increase the team's score? Y is he still nervous about breaking a record? does this means he gives much importance to his record rather than the team score?

He got out on 1..where was he giving importance to his 100??? It is fans/statisticians who chase such landmark numbers.

Dont tell me he doesn't get the pressure of scoring 100 hundreds in every match he plays. He should just forget abt it and play his natural game. I was listening to ganguly's post match analysis and he met sachin before the match and he was still nervous abt the record.

And what gives you such a deep insight into his mind/thoughts? If you knew anything about passion, you would not be making such statements.

His body language man. When ganguly says sachin was nervous abt the record, we should believe it right? he should be passionate abt india's score, not his.
