NareshK Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 VVS and Dravid have never been Usain Bolt. They field in the slips most of the times and cant sprint after the ball like a Raina or Kohli. This has been the case for the past few years even during the whole time India was No.1 in test rankings and not something new in this series. As always when India loses, the brickbats are out and everything is criticized.
SachDan Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Off topic..where's Michael Henderson these days? Malcom Conn's twin brother from UK :)
wobblydoggy Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 What he said in the last part of the article about ringing in the changes is what I have been saying. I suppose you all need an Englishman to tell you the simple facts of life. Give me a shout any time you like Gunner, I'll keep you on the straight and narrow:winky:
Rahul Dravid Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I think it is time to bid them goodbye. Either go on your own or risk getting dropped. India thanks you for your service but it is time to move on. The longer we are waiting the longer we are delaying the obvious. Now that we have lost the no. 1 ranking and we have no chance of getting it back soon. Now is the time. Phase them out gradually. Anyhow, BCCI will keep doing the same sh*t. why not?

You don't become 0-3, esp. the way you have lost the tests comprehensively, due to one or two minor issues that can be corrected easily.

Exactly - the scale of the defeats is humiliating, 196 runs, 319 runs and an innings and 242 runs. These are absolute maulings - the kind of defeats you expect Bangladesh to suffer.
