Cricket chiefs have let Pakistan's Mohammad Aamer get away with a warning letter for flouting his worldwide ban by playing in a Surrey League game. The 19-year-old, serving a five year suspension from all cricket for his part in last summerÃÔ spot fixing scandal, received a formal letter from the ICC. Lucky escape: Mohammad Aamer has been let off with a warning Despite finding Aamer had clearly broken the terms of his ban by playing for Addington 1743 in a Surrey Cricket League Division One game just five months into his ban, the ICC chose to take no further action. ICC spokesman Colin Gibson said: 'He was warned as to his future conduct and was reminded in the strongest terms of the conditions of his ban.' Aamer was already on a warning from the ICC after playing in a friendly in Pakistan in January, while provisionally suspended. Aamer is awaiting trial at a London Crown Court on cheating and corruption charges in relation to one of the biggest scandals ever to engulf cricket. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricket/article-2029861/Mohammad-Amir-Aamer-warned-playing-Surrey-League.html Spineless ICC the man has already played t20 match in pakistan after the ban started he shud have been given bigger ban

meh let him go guys......hes prob a genuine kid who got corrupted from the dirty environment around him. I mean who lets their talents as great as that perish way so easily from such crude actions? :(( Let him serve out his ban and see where he is at. Not defending him, but not everyone can be tainted with the same brush.

Anyone who plays in the big league should be treated like everyone else. Just because he is 18 or younger, doesnt mean he is entirely innocent of what he did or he could be let off. In such case, he shouldnt have played international cricket in the first place till he is matured.
