So? Doesn't mean that you piss off the majority.
If you want to bring majority religion into the equation, stop calling it a secular country.

Just like India is a secular country with a Hindu majority, Australia is a secular country with a Christian/Catholic majority. Does India want Sharia law? Like I said Muslims go to country's like the USA, Australia, India, Europe etc and demand the laws be changed for them, like I said if they don't like the laws/rules in our country's they should stay in their **** holes.

Dominating only in numbers that's it. If you want the majority religion\ethnicity to make the calls then that is not secular. :beee:

I dont understand why you keep mentioning the majority religion. It does not affect how the country is governed or how its laws are formulated and enforced. You are more than welcome to change it if you want to. You can also return to your original ****hole since I highly doubt you are an aborigine.

What is the point you are trying to make? So' date=' what if its a Hindu majority?[/quote'] Read what you wrote again. According to you, a country can't be secular if it has a dominating majority. Going by your logic, India can't be secular since it is Hindu majority. Astounding!! :hysterical:

sree_india and NeutralCat, you guys are missing the point. Western democracies which are secular are called so cause per their constitution (at least in the US it is so) no religion is above others, everyone must be permitted to follow their own religion. Majority religion means nothing, really. Majority, minority all have equal rights to practice their own religion and no one from the majority or the minority has the right to infringe on another person's right to practice his/her religion. Now, when religious practices conflict with other laws like safety laws, we have issues which have to be dealt with on a case by case basis. That doesn't mean those who practice that religion have to take a hike or go back to their hole or get the ***k off or whatever.
