Raghav_12 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Netherland Ocean Dams. These are awesome. I had spent one whole day going around few of these dams (out of total 13). These dams, which are part of project known as Delta Project, are considered one of the 7 wonders of Human Engineering. For me one of the most impressive work I have seen in life. Incidentally, today only I was explaining to somebody this total project and then I saw this post. More details on delta project: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_Works http://www.deltawerken.com/Deltaworks/23.html
akshayxyz Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 ^ I forgot the 'delta works' name, as it has been couple of years. Hence I chose "Netherlands ocean dams" to search for the pic.. Truly a masterpiece of engineering. A must visit, esp. before we start seeing better ones.
