Tatenda Taibu has been training with the Zimbabwe team in Harare and looking very much involved in the thick of things, although at first he was said to be practicising to stay in form. However, Sources close to Taibu have revealed that he is engaged in talks with management and influential board directors. "The extent of those talks are not for public consumption for now," Lovemore Banda, the board's media manager said. This kid is a good player, but he really doesn't have a future as a Zimbabwean cricketer. He should do what the Flowers and Murray Goodwin did - play county cricket.

I think Zim's test status is suspended isnt it ? the Cricket commitee under Gavaskar had recommneded that they play no further test matches until they have 'shown significant imporovments in quality' . Did the ICC accept these recommendations ?
