Sachin=GOD Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 When I was in college' date= I was so sure about what was right and wrong. And I was idealistic. I was sure that I would only work with *reputed* firms who would never stand for the oppressor, who would help the downtrodden, who would place law above everything and all that. And all the "reputed" firms claim that they are idealistic. I wanted to work to make my city and my country a better place. I joined a well known and highly rated law firm last August. Inside 3 months, I lost sense of right and wrong. Earlier I could discern between black and white, now I started seeing grey everywhere. There were no right parties. Just people who were wrong. And those who were "wronger" ? Who do you fight for? The lying labour union leader who is in cahoots with the management or the errant manager who neglects safety? The government which confiscates prime land by stating it as forest area or the slum dwellers association who encroach that land illegally and pay electricity bills to the government? The diamond bourse who which monopolizes diamond trade through hoarding and artificial shortages or the whistle-blower who is an associated member of such a bourse and reneges on his contractual agreement with them? :(( Basically, I was stupid and naive when I joined. Now I'm only stupid. :P Now I assist my dad with his manufacturing businesses. Not many occasions of legal work, but helping your family concern grow has its own sense of 'feel good' to it. I also get to troll more on ICF. :P A very, very large number of people, before they start working, think like this.................and withing a few weeks/months of starting work, sab bhul jaate hain (or bhulna padta hai :(( )
Sachin=GOD Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I dont know who is Moh.:dontknow: But Maya......she is hot :woot:. ...vati ? You have some taste bro :nice: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
DomainK Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 ...vati ? You have some taste bro :nice: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: When I said hot, the only Maya you could think of is vati? :headshake:
DomainK Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 A very' date=' very large number of people, before they start working, think like this.................and withing a few weeks/months of starting work, sab bhul jaate hain (or bhulna padta hai :(( )[/quote'] Even when I was small, I knew that I wanted money. I was born smart.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Even when I was small' date=' I knew that I wanted money. I was born smart.[/quote'] (almost) everyone wants money right from their childhood but a large number of people think that they would earn it only by doing right and they would place the law above everything and all that kind of idealistic talk till they are jolted out of it by the reality of whats happening in this country and how things actually work.
akshayxyz Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 not just money!! Some people stoop very low even for some imaginary, useless (money wise) ratings/rankings in some corporations.
