If its an integrated Intel graphics card then it cant be replaced since they solder it to the motherboard. If its separate card, it can be replaced.
Holysmoke Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Dont try to modify your laptop in anything other than changing HDD/RAM. Use this till it breaks down, then get a new one.

Most likely you are using 32 bit machine, so 4GB wont be utilized fully on your machine... only ~3.2GB will be usable.. so better add on only 2GB chip (overall 3GB) - if your system supports 2 slots. Even with that you will see significant boost. As for HDD, I would suggest 160 is good enough, just take the external portable HDD. in terms of cost per unit 1TB will be cheaper. Also I have heard that, after recent floods in Bangakok/ChinkiArea.... these components have become costlier, and 500GB is more affected than 1TB prices.
akshayxyz Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 use this utility to see your current system config - cpu-Z. It can show you how many memory slots are there, type of RAM ( most likely DDR2) and its frequency etc.
Sir john Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 ok am going to change RAM to 2 GB and HDD to 500.
Holysmoke Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 What processor do you have? What is the bus speed? Why dont you get an external hard disk instead?
Sir john Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Pentium®Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz 1.20 GHz,956 MB of RAM Physical Address Extension this is my laptop
Sir john Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 i don't know much about laptop, what i wrote abover is what i know.
ganeshran Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 This is too low a config to play newer games. Buy a new laptop
Holysmoke Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 this is my laptop No use increasing the ram. Will not give you more than a 10% speed boost. Might as well buy a external hard disk, and use current laptop. If you want to play newer games, get a new laptop.. upgrading this will not help.
