Cricket Tragic Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Top 4 make the cut. If you had to put your money on a team now, who would it be?
deepak_sach Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Top 4 make the cut. If you had to put your money on a team now' date=' who would it be?[/quote'] Will India be within the top four by then??????:nervous:
SachDan Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Top 4- India,England,South Africa and Sri Lanka (I'm sure even without Murali, they will continue to do well at home)
Cricket Tragic Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 Top 4- India' date='England,South Africa and Sri Lanka (I'm sure even without Murali, they will continue to do well at home)[/quote'] I just checked the FTP. SL have got a tour of SA and Aus before 2013.
Cricket Tragic Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Australia up to number 4 now.
Sidhoni Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Top 4- India' date='England,South Africa and Sri Lanka (I'm sure even without Murali, [b']they will continue to do well at home) Lost to Aus 1-0 in recent series
Cricket Tragic Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 They have a tough home series against England early next year as well.
saneindian Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 The way England have been demolishing teams at home recently, they will have to be the favorites. The only other team which will challenge them in England is SA especially if Tahir starts doing well in test matches. India have a total of 24 tests before the test championships WI- 3 tests (H) Nov 2011 Aus- 4 tests (A) Dec 2011- Feb 2012 Pak- 3 tests (H) If the series goes through SL- 3 tests (A) Aug 2012 NZ- 3 tests (H) Oct 2012 Eng- 4 tests (H) Nov-Dec 2012 Aus- 4 tests (H) Feb- Mar 2013 We should be in top 4 considering we play a lot at home between now and 2013. But again winning 1-0 against NZ and WI at home could make it difficult for us.
Number Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 If it's on bouncy tracks , then without sachin , dravid and laxman by that time, we will be laughing stock in this kind of tournament.
Stuge Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Australia and regarding India is concerned .I don't see them playing this tournament .

Cricket Tragic Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Next series against SA is in Dec 2013.
Cricket Tragic Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Btw, why the feck is the final (and semis?) in England? They should have a cut-off date and then pick a neutral venue.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Next series against SA is in Dec 2013. Wow!!! from Dec 2010 to Dec 2013. Thats bad.
Cricket Tragic Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 It is normal tbh. It's normally 4 years between tours - 3 years for some tours.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 It is normal tbh. It's normally 4 years between tours - 3 years for some tours. we usually have 2 tours in around 5 years vs teams like SA - once we go there and then they come to India.

They came to India in 2008 and 2010 - we toured in 2010/2011 as well. 1992/3, 1997, 2001, 2006, 2010... They toured in 1992/3, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2010 (tests were added by the BCCI)
gaurav92 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Voted for this : None of the above. SJ will become ICC president and fix it in favour of Kenya. :hail::hail::hail::hail::hail:
Cricket Tragic Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 The series next summer will give us a pretty good indication.
Sid Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Yes it will be a great series,I reckon SA will lose just because they dont have a good 3rd seamer.
