BeautifulGame Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 but that is not a right strategy, at least a 5-over spell and then break is what Dhoni should do. Three 5-over spell in a day is not too much bowling. If you go more than 5 like Yadav did in Irani and bowled 10 that is called overusing. You cannot keep your bowlers in cotton wool. Break spells like this 5-4-3-4. Either way it worked pretty well considering Yadav often took wickets in his first or second over in his spells. So dont think any wrong in how Dhoni used Yadav IMO.
BERGKAMP Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Funny, Dhoni is bigging up Yuvi to the press, then the selectors drop him a couple of hours later.
phaedrus Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 one of the big positives of the england tour has been the speed with which the selectors are clearing the dead weight around the team.

True that - most probably Jimmy Amarnath's influence because Srikkanth was keen on Yuvi in Tests. Sree, Mishra, Bhajji, now Yuvi all deservedly axed.
carnish Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Guys i know Srikkanth is our chief selector.. who are the others???
