They want Power without responsibility. Some members of Team Anna have become extremely arrogant and worse still, they have this attitude that whatever they are saying IS RIGHT and anyone else who is saying something is simply wrong. Team Anna entering politics can be the most devastating blow to democracy in India.

Kangress uses CBI to get the "support" of SP & BSP MPs in the parlaiment to save it's govt. CBI is sitting on cases against Mayawati (Taj Corridor etc.) and Mulayam. The moment it comes to No-Trust vote in Parliament, it uses CBI to get SP & BSP MPs in line. They either vote for UPA or "abstain".. Is this the "Parliamentary Democracy" which some people cherish and want to "safeguard"? While I can understand the country needs a "stable" govt., the Kangress uses this as virtually to steamroll the opposition even when it depends upon lot's of parties to save in in the Parliament. Heck, it even doesn't consults it's own UPA partners before taking any major decisions (example: FDI), how can you expect it to listen to opposition voices in the Parlaiment? What sort of "debate" they want in the Parliament when they will do whatever they want (with the help of CBI to get various MPs in line)? Laaton Ke bhoot.. Baaton seh nahin maantey.. Jab G mein danda hota hain then they'll agree to 'include PM, C grade employees etc.' in the Lokpal bill. Why do they give chance to pressure groups like Team Anna? Just wait for couple of days, and see how include PM and Grade-C employees in the bill. If they couyld've done this in the first place, it could've not given chance to Team Anna or Opposition. Why do they wait for a kick in their back sides and then react? Now when they change their stance (after getting a kick and looking at the crowd in Jantar-Mantar), the public who are sitting on the fence, feel that Team Anna is actually 'getting things done' and more people join the movement. Not at all a fault of Team Anna..If you want to blame anybody, blame Kangress & UPA... People will be stupid to give a third term to UPA (just look at the prices, inflation & corruption etc.). Even if you don't like it, a govt. change is required in the next elections. You have to give opportunities to other parties to try and bring new and different policies. Kangress should think hard about the ground situation. They are lucky that now CBI will not be under Govt. control if any oppostion party forms the next Govt. otherwise Kangress arses will be roasted alive starting with that damaad Robert Vadra..They should thank their lucky stars.. So just because you are against Congress you are ready to accept the hypocrisy and many, many faults of Team Anna? They wanted (and have now got) the lower bureaucracy under the Lokpal but watching and investigating complaints against 57 lac people will be an administrative nightmare and will greatly reduce the efficiency of the Lokpal. What should be done is to have a separate Grievance Redressal Bill, a separate Judicial Accountability Bill and the CBI should be under the supervision of the Lokpal but should not be answerable to Lokpal. The PM will eventually come under the Lokpal.

People are that blind when it comes to madamji and yuvraj.

How can you balme "protesters" for some hypothetical issue(s) which might crop up in the future? Are you not affected by the the "present situation" that you are worried about the future? It's like a hardcore crimonal is giving you '**** lobotomy' now and you are worried of some newbie might do you the same in 2-3 years time..

Sachin=GOD Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Government okays key anti-graft bills to counter Anna Hazare threat NEW DELHI: Pushed into a corner by an aggressive opposition and the looming threat of Anna Hazare, the government on Tuesday okayed a slew of anti-graft bills to tackle corruption at high places, including in the judiciary. The cabinet, at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, approved the Judicial Standards and Accountability Bill, the Grievances Redressal Bill and the Whistleblowers' Bill. The three bills were cleared even as Hazare has demanded that grievance redressal should be part of the Lokpal bill and the judiciary should also be brought in the ambit of the anti-graft ombudsman. The judicial accountability bill seeks to lay down enforceable standards of conduct for judges. It also requires judges to declare details of their and their family members' assets and liabilities. As per the bill, a five member oversight committee - headed by a former Chief Justice of India, with a Supreme Court judge, the chief justice of a high court, an eminent person appointed by the president and the attorney general of India as an ex-officio member would look into allegations of corruption against judges. The Citizens Right to Grievance Redress Bill, 2011 seeks to check graft in lower levels of administration and sets standards for time bound public service and grievance redress from panchayats to government departments. The Whistleblowers' Protection bill seeks to establish a mechanism to receive complaints relating to disclosure of any allegations of corruption against any public servant and to provide enough safeguard against victimisation of persons making such disclosures. A parliamentary standing committee has suggested that union ministers, higher judiciary and regulatory authorities should be under in the ambit of the bill. The cabinet decision came on a day when Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati refused to back the government on the Lokpal bill in its current form. The slew of anti-corruption legislations are expected to help the government blunt criticism from the opposition and Team Anna about its resolve to fight graft. The cabinet meeting was followed by an interaction among United Progressive Alliance (UPA) partners on the Lokpal bill. The Congress core group met earlier in the day ahead of the UPA meeting and an all-party meeting scheduled Wednesday. The government is keen on a wide political consensus in view of the opposition joining hands with Hazare to oppose some recommendations of the standing committee looking into the Lokpal bill. The 74-year-old Hazare also reiterated his threat to resume protests from Dec 27 if a strong Jan Lokpal bill was not passed in the winter session of parliament. Hazare went on a daylong fast Sunday and found backing from leaders of several parties, including the BJP, the Communists, the Janata Dal-United, Biju Janata Dal and Telugu Desam Party. It was the first time so many political veterans publicly rallied behind Hazare. link Team Anna can shout all they like but in the end many of their demands are not going to be met. They had asked for Judicial Accountability and Grievance Redress in the Lokpal but it looks like the Govt will have its way and these will be separate bills.

Next Govt. will sort all these Kangressi bills etc. & consolidate and make them effective. Bhai Saheb Govt toh 5-6 mahine se keh rahi hai "Judicial Accountability Bill, Grievance Redress Bill introduce karne do". It was Team Anna which was asking for these to be included within the Lokpal itself and not as separate Bills - finally it looks like the Govt will have separate bills instead of giving more power to Lokpal.
