I wish the biggest problem(s) we face are the ones mentioned in the article. At BCCI everyone from selectors to board members to head of BCCI to ex-players are guilty of "conflict of interest" and there's no remedy either. At least you know that Cricket Australia do care about cricket and mistakes are genuine mistakes compared to putting money over everything else and putting cricket on the back-burner.

What is funny is that the commentators constantly keep saving "packed house", "full crowd", while the camera zooms around empty stands. CA needs to attend a workshop from BCCI to understand the nuances of TV coverage :D

I dont think Big Bash is going to get large number of spectators like in IPL-Saturday or no saturday. Even for the opeing match on 16th (Friday), the stadium was half-empty.

its hardly a mistake think of it this way, how many people would come to see (a) non big bash matches ie what it was before the big bash (b) From what i read television figures are more from the previous format of the tournament.
