you have a better way ? Iam all ears. :woot:
No way you can't convince some people to believe against their will. Even if it's the most obvious thing in the world. Reason: Some are very dumb, some are very ignorant, Some don't want to bother as they are happy with their lives (or not). Seems like you have found someone with all three diseases at the same time.

Flower played 10 inngs against SAF which you are calling insufficient data. Then how is Lara having played 13 inngs against Pak sufficient data ? BTW why have you included SRT vs WI (when Ambrose is playing) ? The no.of inngs is only 6 . Did you say Illogical comparisons ? hehehe.
Because Lara, Tendulkar, Steve Waugh have played ALOT against the greatest fast bowlers of their era, alot more than Flower. I am assuming you understand cricket reasonably well and therefore your idea to bring in Flower here whose career was much more limited in opportunities relatively is nothing but your usual characteristic attempt to divert an issue when cornered and manufacture " anomalies". No one is falling for it. I did not search this stat to bring down Tendulkar, it was a very strong impression created purely by following the game very closely and watching his majestic chokes against ATG champion fast bowlers - the stat just vindicated it. Even a bachhha knows that Mcgrath arguably the most successfully bowler of his era has literally toyed around with his wicket in the big games and big moments. Funny to see you sit quietly on the point of SRT never dominating the rankings for more than 3-4 years out of 22 years. Must be the most worthless " ATG". And I am sure quietly you will sit on this point forever. His pathetic test ranking graph viz other great test batting greats only exposes him further. You and I can disagree on subjective views for ever but the man is thoroughly exposed vs other greats on qualitative OBJECTIVE measures that apply to all and sundry. His weakheartedness as captain and 2 expected super flops in 2 WC finals only hammer home his inability to raise his game on the biggest stage. Unfortunately he could not carry the luck that saved him 4 times in the Semis against Pak to the finals. He unarguably stands out in the line of greats as someone with the worst big match and big moment temperament and jigra. Since you feel great satisfaction in replying last on a topic , please go ahead. You will truely match Tendulkar by having the most posts on this topic like him having the most runs. Congrats.

Don't reply to the side kick.
:hysterical::hysterical: You are fast proving Mahesh Bhatt's idiom of how people end up becoming the very same person they castigate online. Whats with trying to cool down BB? Lest you forget he is probably 20 years older, he can take care of himself :haha: Jeez. What an asinine thread. Good thing it was locked. Opening only brought out the worse (apart from Patiala Peg's response).

damn ... that does make a lot of sense. Especially when there is a big gutless crowd of supposedly "sensible" posters that prefer to just sit and watch the site go down the gutter. I just feel stupid having put in sooo many hours for this site. Ohh well.
Exactly. Time to really watch cricket and feel the excitement. :two_thumbs_up:

It is funny that someone like Bradman who did a full time job outside cricket and also played over 20 years in parallel managed to be such a HUGE standout in his era, despite no formal coaching is being compared to someone who can influence pitch preparation to fit in his personal milestones ( and yet fail, like Mumbai vs West Indies ) , prepare and practice for hours and hours together everyday much more than his peers and colleagues and yet avg only 56. Must be the most bizarre and one sided comparison of 2 sportsmen. Lets just leave him out of the comparison for he was a genuine genius not someone who built a career by being a ruthless motivated workaholic. Let SRT first be fit to tie Viv Richards shoe laces in facing ATG fast bowlers. Maybe it will happen in his 3rd wind at the age of 43 when he is nudging 20000 test runs. Hehe..that's all he can be, cricket's greatest record holder. Nothing more.
