CSK Fan Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 no forget its 100th 100 or anything..he was set so ideally he should have scored big one. we need him to get to that 100 asap because its actually playing on his mind...so soon he gets it better it is. I am not happy with 70s, I am not satisfied, I want double hundred...does not matter if its 99th 100 or 100th 100 or 101st.. Viru was set. So was dravid. Was the hundred also playing on their mind? In fact Dravid got out to almost the same kind of ball, on a no-ball. It was just a great delivery. Its really moronic that every Sachin dismissal is attributed to the 100 being on his mind.

I am sure there will be some little pressure because of the landmark just like every player will face some pressure when they are in sight of a landmark but these theories put forward by Ian Chappell and the media in general about the hundred affecting his batting is just pure bullshit. he had a bad series in England but still scored more than any other Indian batsman in the second innings (cue to the myth holders) averaging more than 10 runs (?) than that of Rahul was our best bat in that series. He also played beautifully against the WI. The standard set for him is almost like if he dunn get a hundred then he is a failure. I think he will end u as the top scorer in this Test not just for India but both sides combined which means he has to score at least another 50 runs (Pawning as 120+ already)

He just got an unplayable delivery. The main thing that would have been back of his mind was to survive till stumps and start afresh the next day. He was on 73 not on 93. Or are you arguing that every time he goes out to bat the hundred is on his mind and dominates his game right from when he is batting at 0 to 99?
kabira Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 ^I am not talking about this innings, I am talking about in general. Its there in the mind. just need to get it done, thats it.
akshayxyz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 no way...most of the Sachin fanatics can read mind..so if they say its not in his mind its not.. And if others say its there, it has to be there? Is that part of Nimhans curriculum or your therapy there?

akshayxyz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 both are right or both may wrong...but u guys just try to force everything...even ready to get personal attack :giggle: thats the difference I am glad you accepted that. either side is as good / bad at mind reading as the other side. well - mocking at others who does not agree with you view - ( ROFL bleddy mind readers ROFL...) - was initiation of attack from your side... so I had no choice but to reply your "eent" with "paththar"...because certain set of people do not realize the hypocrisy of their statements until hit with certain minimum force... talk about breaking the bubble. P.S. meaningless smilies irrelevant to discussion are as much of personal attack as something written in plain English.

Dear sir, I am a ordinary Mechanical engineer with limited vocabulary in English languge..so plz show some mercy with writing in simple english as much as possible.. I dont know from when Smileys and calling some guys mind readers became personal attack initiation.. I will deeply regret my grammar yours Dumb Dumb guy
akshayxyz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 It does not look like a case of limitation of English vocabulary. Most likely Nimhans effect, and quite likely some fundamental deficiency. over and out.

He was easily the best batsman from both sides. Don't know why you have to keep on bringing that 100 thhing about someone who is succeeding and not failing.

Don't know why you have to keep on bringing that 100 thhing about someone who is succeeding and not failing. check my posts I have no way said he is failing, far from it. My point is he has missed out big ones atleast on 2 occasions. I am thinking may be he gets bit edgy when he is close to 100, happened in 4th test in England, happened in Wankhede... Alright he got a Jaffa, thats not my point, I just want to get him to that milestone like yesterday so that money off his back. He had similar monkey before 50th test hundred (was it 50th or something else).
akshayxyz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 very very bad day for me pwned even by some xyz my heart goes out to you..it must be really disappointing for a Mechanical Engineer to be pwned at the hands of some random goodfornothingxyz.

bulbul Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 On serious note XYZ why taking things so serious and personal...these are just fun debates... :icflove: regarding Mech. Engineer i wrote to show i niether works nor Admitted in Nimhans :winky: there are lot of professions which are far better than Mech engineering and even inside lot of people better than me.. As i told i am just a ordinary , unimportant guy just wants some fun :winky:
The Outsider Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Ironic and funny to see a certain set of posters talking about the "easy way out" of scoring a century in ODIs - when Kesavan raised a similar point in a different context about ODIs and Tests not being mixed there was hell raised on these forums by the same or similar posters.
akshayxyz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 On serious note XYZ why taking things so serious and personal...these are just fun debates... :icflove: regarding Mech. As i told i am just a ordinary , unimportant guy just wants some fun :winky: I have my own weird ways to have 'fun out of debates'. On serious note. When you went about ridiculing 'fanatics' on their 'mind reading' capabilities - you could have taken a step back and it is not tough to figure out - your perception is as (im)probable as their's!!! unless of course there is some deficiency or bubble of delusion on side of self-proclaimed-superior-side. And that is where lies the hypocrisy part - most of the self proclaimed anti-fanatics are as 'fanatical' about their views as so called 'fanatics' are about theirs. However, more often than not - (from what I have observed here on ICF) - self-proclaimed anti-fanatics are the first ones to resort to mocking/smilies (ohh I am so smart, and they are just fanatics/idiots) and other modes of derogatory remarks than the other side does. Again - that is just my neutral observation, you are entitled to have your own views and do not even have to listen to me (forget agreeing) , as long as it fits your happiness/fun criteria.
