The English not only prepare green tops' date=' but also keep a special batch of heavy swinging Duke balls for their home series.[/quote'] I have been to hundreds of games in the uk and seen real greentops. Because in the odd test you see the slightest tinge of green you call that a green top. It is most likely because you think all pitches should be dark brown featherbeds If you ever saw a real greentop you would see the ball do some very strange things:hysterical:

Well anyway quite funny to see the English floundering like headless chickens in India. Looking forward to Nov 2012. And no 'special' batch of Duke balls available for the English either. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

You always do and so do the Aussi's, we should too but English sense of fair play stops us. We give away sides a fair chance
Not realy, no. We gave Aussies pitches to their liking in 2004, especially in Nagpur, which cost us the home series to Aus for the first time since 60s. If we had played to our strength and followed the same policy which Eng, Aus and SA follow when India tours these countries and had gone for a pitch favoring spin, Aussies would still be waiting for their first series win in India since 60s. Hope BCCI remembers that when Eng tours India this year.
