So what the **** was BJP govt doing in Karnataka when these Sri Ram Sena where doing hooliganism in Karnataka in last 2 years ? What exactly did they do when these guys attack the pub in Mangalore? Its not like these Sena idiots has come from moon suddenly raising Pakistani flag.If Govts were serious about them they could have put them under a seal long ago.Why didnt BJP ever even bothered to do that. Was Yediyurappa also funded by Congress during that time?

I was studying in Electronic city when this happened so even if i dont have much mangalore politics i have decent knowledge of Karnataka politics.IIRC Bajrang Dal even openly backed this Ram sena soon after this pub attacks happened. Infact there were plenty of reports of in local media during that time how this attack was not an isolated incident and this sena has carried out small attacks in the name of culture plenty of other places too towards which the govt turned a deaf ear too. Most of these escaped the national media unfortunately.

BJP' date=' which came to power?[/quote'] BJP came to power in karnataka in may 08. Sri Ram Sene started doing its shenanigans after. then all major cities apart from bangalore and ahmadabad went to Congress and UPA. That happened after their hijra like response to 26/11. Congress will continue to do there deeds because they know they can get away with it. Its shame that there are more sheeple in this country than human beings.

With the arrest of another Hindutva activist on Tuesday in connection with the hoisting of a Pakistani flag in front of the Tahsildar office at Sindagi in Karnataka on January 1, the number of persons held by the police for what they believe was a plot to foment communal strife has increased to seven. The arrested are members of Sri Ram Sene, a pro-Hindutva outfit. According to the police, they allegedly hoisted the Pakistani flag and then blamed it on the town's Muslim community. The accused were shifted to the Bellary district prison on Sunday morning as other inmates of the Bijapur district jail allegedly attacked them for being involved in ÅÂnti-national activities. Rakesh Math, the prime accused, was seriously injured in the fracas, and the remaining sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, members of the district unit of Sri Ram Sene have said the accused do not belong to their outfit but are members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). At a press conference here, they released several pictures to prove their point, alleging that the police had been pressured not to drag the name of the RSS into the issue. Well-placed police sources, however, told The Hindu that the entire incident was carried out at the behest of an elected representative of the BJP, whose political agenda was to foment communal disturbances in the district. The sources added that the elected representative had instructed his supporters to destroy all evidence of his involvement, including photographs of the protesters and the banners of the organisation. The Pakistani flag was hoisted in the early hours of January 1. Later in the morning, the accused, led by Rakesh Math, organised a protest in front of the Tahsildar's office, alleging that the Muslim community was behind the incident. The protesters blocked the road and hurled stones at buses before the police enforced order. The police then formed a special team to investigate the matter. It concluded that the Sri Ram Sene activists who organised the protests were behind the incident. They arrested the six ringleaders on January 3 under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for sedition and inciting communal disturbance. As a precautionary measure, the district administration has banned rallies, protests and dharnas in connection with the issue. http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/article2790960.ece

Do you know that the Editor of The Hindu' date=' Siddharth Varadarajan is US citizen!![/quote'] there was this chart doing rounds on the internet couple of years ago connecting many of the news and print media as well NGOs with foreign organizations. At that time i just neglected it as a by product of conspiracy theory nut jobs, But if you look at what passes for journalism in India these days I wouldn't be surprised if the media in India is even more fvcked up.

One only has to hear the Radia tapes to fathom the deep rot.

Utter nonsense. This is the same Hindu which published wikileaks info about Rahul Gandhi comments to US ambassador and embarrassed Congress. I cant comment on how Hindu portrays in other states but its easily the best newspaper in Tamil nadu by far.
