Rajiv Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 So if PC has LAN and Wi-FI ( via USB ) and both are ON, is there a way to use a browser through a specific one of my choice
THX_1138 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Yes. reboot with only the wifi adapter connected. open a browser, and it shall connect via the wifi. now disable the wifi, and connect the ethernet cable, open a new browser. at first it may display no connectivity, but refresh the page till it redirects traffic through the functioning adapter. now, renable the wifi and refresh the original browser opened. you now have traffic going through two different network adapters. one way to test this, is to use the wifi of a different subnet and check your ip address on both browsers. it should not be the same. this is all mere observation, not prescribed procedure. if it does not work, sorry for the inconvenience.
StriKe Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 In Win 7 Go to Control panel - > Network and Sharing - > change adapter settings - > press ALT -> Advance -> Advance settings and Select the adapter in the order you wanted to work.
