This is what happens when you take an in-form batsman and make him sit on the bench for 2 months. I wish team management had simply sent Rohit back to play the Ranji games. At least he would have had some match practice. Or they could have asked one of the BBL franchises to give Rohit a few games.

Rohit has been sitting on the benches for half his international career. I remember when he first got selected he went for 2-3 series without a game and would be included or chopped according to convenience till he got a break in the T20 World Cup.
