I don't see any problem in his return to International Cricket. He was just 19 when he took that wrong step in the influence of his seniors. Thats the truth of life. Juniors always follow the lead. He must have learnt his lesson by now. And don't forget, we have much bigger convicts in every field of life whether its sports, politics or glamour world.

Undecided. Kid was a special talent and after serving his punishment he should get second chance. We have seen likes of Gibbs and Samuel come back after serving their bans. Heart says he should get another chance but head says he should never be picked again to send a strong message. If he comes back in three years he will be in early to mid twenties and will have a decade long career ahead of him. Which will be wrong example for future generations.

well i cant make up my mind.. i mean even kids know that bowling no balls like that is wrong and that it will lead to ban so is that a good excuse ? yes he might ve been forced but who knows.. he did pleaded guilty.. thats why he wasnt convicted for long and about that it happens in other places ..sports is totally diff form other things itsj ust against the essense of sports wht he did and also isnt it national pride to give ur best and try to win bowling no balls like that.. he even went against his own country so imo he should not play and pakistan should move on

Heart says yes for me too, based on his talent. But I mean Samuels gave tips to a bookie and was rightly banned 5 years. What Butt, Asif and Amir did was well planned, malicious to their country and sport. Who knows how many times they did it? This was just a "lucky catch." When someone goes out there and doesn't play to his best due to financial reasons, that is the ultimate insult to the fans who follow the game...

Let's not go there. Your big three, barring one, have been guilty as well. On topic, I said it before in another thread. He has been punished quite severely for an 18/19 year old kid. He is reaping what he sowed. Jail sentence in a foreign country and a 5 year ban from Cricket. Unlike Asif, if Aamer shows remorse, he has every right to make a comeback. Based on performance of course.

no he didn't cos of his age he got less ban.. and he wasnt even in a prison ..! i dont get this do u want cheats to play for ur country, dont u care about honor or winning ?

HE's a kid.I'd cut him some slack. Things like countries honor aren't really at the top of the list for a 17 yo guys who was so poor that he couldn't afford a pair of cricketing shoes.TBH i have done some thing at that age that I am not particularly proud of. lol.

Yes but you mindset doesn't change as quickly as your living condition change. You don't just start eating a hamburger everyday just because you moved to the U.S from India.Takes time. edit :IF it was up to me i would've banned But and Asif FOR LIFE .Butt for being the captain and Asif for being a proven cheat and let Amir go with a much lighter punishment TBH.

AS an Indian I'd say HELL YES!.Think about him and ZAK bowling in tandem :) . I feel that the clout BCCI enjoys over cricket this matter would've been settled in a different manner lol ;). Then again ,IF he was an Indian cricketer he wouldn't have to bowl that no ball since he would've been making so much money that money wouldn't have been an issue for him .Also, our player are a bit more educated than them.:--D
