Lost nonetheless, after dominating the batting throughout. Award for the super-choker of the match! Ponting and the word "choker" don't go well together. The guy is a 3 times world champion with one of the best knocks you will see in a WC final unlike someone we call "god" :winky: I won't even talk about his Test credentials and captaincy record.

With the team he had, even a donkey would have won the WC finals. @ his captaincy. Obviously an awesome bat, and who the hell would deny it. Kind of weird to take a bit of shot at Ponting for having a great team, when most of us are not williing to do even half of the usual Australian mechanism to get there! Well Ponting got the kind of team he did because the selectors, players, fans are inherently different than ours and put results ahead of indivduals? no?
