Ponka Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 1 - Instead of Hussey it was Gambhir obstructing the field and the appeal was made by Aussies? 2 - If instead of Finn elbowing Ajmal to ground it was Gul elbowing Pietersen? This is ridiculous as umpires are making these horrible decisions and are ignoring certain events when they would haven't if the roles were reversed. As far as Ponka thinks, 1 - Hussey should have been run out but he wasn't but if it was Aussies appealing, umprie would have given Gambhir or any other asian out. 2 - Finn should be banned for 1 match alteast but he has got away with it completely. If gul had done it, Pietersen would have done a big drama on the wicket and then umpires would have banned Gul or any asian player for that matter. What do you guys think about 1 & 2? Also why the benefit of doubt has to go to Whites?
J P K Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 D hussey Run out reminds of SG getting out in IPL reminds of this match poor dada iOtnPkiiiME
amiret Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I remember in the 90's when Ganguly was brought down by an SA player and he was run out Cronje brought him back .
Pagalpanti Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 The old days of Oz-English domination are back? BCCI goons don't have power anymore? :(( Conspiracy theorists out in full force :cantstop:
Ponka Posted February 25, 2012 Author Posted February 25, 2012 ^^ Examples used are from two matches played today between asians and non-asians
jairamesh Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 If like you say the roles are reversed then it's not in the spirit of the cricket, and apparently (esp. according to tough talking Aussies) it's crossing that thin red line.
Magneto Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 reminds of this match poor dada iOtnPkiiiME Ganguly should have avoided touching the ball here. It was not really hitting him.
mhr123 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I remember in the 90's when Ganguly was brought down by an SA player and he was run out Cronje brought him back . here it is .. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRP4iPPheNw]Ganguly Funny Runout - YouTube[/ame]
J P K Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 here it is .. that was hilarious :hysterical:
Ponka Posted February 25, 2012 Author Posted February 25, 2012 1. Out 2. Apology Exactly and none of this happened. why? Can you imagine the hue and cry if Asians had done 1 & 2 and non-asians were at the receiving end??
gaurav92 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Absoultely disgraceful for the sport I say. If rules are made, they must be followed no matter what. But that is not the case in reality.
Utalk Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Hussy should have been out. You don't do that in gulli cricket let alone an international game. Umpires clearly chickened out here. If I was Indian I would have been very hard done by this.
mhr123 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Yaar the best part was Dada got banged against 2 heavy weights the cricket world has seen in just a few seconds... must have seen stars...
