singhprakash72 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 These two incidents cannot hide the fact that even if D Hussey got out then and SRT survived, India would have still lost ...may be by a little smaller margin. Team India is the weakest of three teams and I think BCCI as well as Dhoni will do better off if they accept this fact and work on getting back on track.

singhprakash72 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 That we will never know. I would beg to differ here simply going by their performance in last 8-9 months...a win here would have been an aberration and even if we won it would not cover up the pathetic levels this side has reached. On papers this team still looks good to beat any side but something is fundamentally wrong in their execution or team dynamics itself ?

In ODI this side may spring a surprise now and then, but does not appear capable of chasing 200+ on a consistant basis. But in test matches they will not even draw a single game away against a good team. There is something fundamentally wrong in the team , lack of unity, power politics combined with poor form and age of several players at the same time. In eight tests, there were hundreds only from Dravid and Kohli. Had one more player stepped up on both these tours, they might have drawn a game or two.
