Northies, dheeray dheeray padhiyega: There are 4 states in South India. Madras is in only one of them. So, only Tamilians are Madrasis. That means the others are not. In addition, there are people who speak Telugu, Kannada (not Kannad) or Malayalam (I know that's a long word, but even you can pronounce it if you tried hard). After all, it's not "Hariharasubrahmanyaganapathy." Saambaar is most commonly considered a Tamil word, but is also used in Kannada and Telugu, usually for a similar dish. Sambhar is a lake in Rajasthan and a type of deer. Not the same thing, as you may have gathered. Rasam is exclusively Tamil. Chaaru is Telugu variation of Rasam. Pappu is not only a criminal in Bihar, it is also the Telugu word for Dal.

Ambedkar wanted Budhdhism.. Surely his name shouldnt be associated with all thi hoo halla... 3. I studied in one of the premier institutes of India. In the mess the dal i used to get had all water... Forget about getting any meat. And even that food was not affordable to a lot of students. 4. If you got right to eat to make a stand then other got right to practice their religion 5. Any Dalit who can afford Beef in his diet surely doesnt needs reservation, Infact his place should be given to one who cant afford dal... 6. Finall Indian constitution give right to cows. +1 This issue has nothing to do with Beef but everything to do with publicity and harakiri.
