Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 What's the point of winning games if you will just throw it away in the big matches? u only win games against minnows like zimbabwe, kenya, ireland, banglardesh (yeah, we fked up against em but still). good teams always smash pakistan. u guys have lost almost every series u have played against australia, india, south africa, england, etc.

Riaz = Crap (50 runs in 4 overs), that 5-ifer was just a fluke, he usually is the main cause we lose. Gul = Can't handle pressure in big games like today. The spinners are great, Ajmal, Hafeez were the main reason we won the test against England, not because of Phassst bowlers. Our batting is nowhere near the quality of India, so overall, we are really a weak team once you look at it. I don't understand why people overrate us. What's the point of winning games if you will just throw it away in the big matches? Yeah, Gul has been pretty useless against us in most of the ODIs.

We have beaten the big teams as well, but we always lose the deciders. If you look at the series we played, we come from behind only to get owned in the deciding games. Today was a massive game for us, and we threw it away again. Pakistan cannot handle pressure at all, India can. But then again India has a lot more skill than us in batting, bowling... well I don't know. As I said, Pakistan is not consistent enough to win big matches (finals mostly). lots of tournaments we make the finals or semis, but bottle it. India also lost to Australia badly, but I'm not going to compare India to other teams, I'm keeping it to India and Pakistan, because that's really all that matters... to me at least.

Well, that was good result and Indians were in general happy that poms were put in to their place after their OTT comments after becoming no1 test team. But to be honest, England has done nothing in test matches in sub-continent in long time to be considered a strong team here.

You guys had some amazing batsmen and some underrated bowlers i.e Kumble. But when some idiot pretending to be a Pak fan will talk nonsense about Pakistani team who has done very well for past 18 months then I will respond. As for MP he has crawled out predictably to post drivel.

I said Gul bottles under pressure... did you even read correctly? Riaz has lost us more games than he has won. Cheema, yeah he is new and I didn't say anything about him IF you tried to even read properly. Gul was NOT expected to go at over 6 per over being our MAIN fast bowler. He was supposed to support the spinners who I mentioned are our BEST bowlers. The problem was NOT the 183, it was the way we gave him the runs. Bowling on legs and with no real commitment. How can we lack commitment in such a big game? it's not the first time this happened. 3-0 was in TEST SERIES, not ODI! why are you comparing the 2? we both know Gul bowls much better in test matches. Understand the logic before slapping a "troll" sticker on me.

I think we are a MUCH better Test team than an ODI team. Today proved it, and so did the whitewash against ENG. India, have not won an ODI series against SA, AUS, ENG either recently, but they owned us today and in the SF of the WC. They also do special things (batsmen making 200, chasing 300+ in less than 40 overs...) So my judgement of Ind > Pak in ODI, stand firm. If you are calling me a troll for that, than you are just being sour.

Dravid_TheWall Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 It was always going to come down to Pak bowlers V our batsmen. No score is out of reach for our batsmen when we are on song, we can also set high targets.. Lets just hope the bowling tightens for rest of cup and SL don't lose to Bang!
