someone Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Why is the IPL schedule so random or shall I say unfair to certain teams. For example, I think RR is the only team which has to play 4 matches in 8 days at 4 different venues. And then there are teams like Deccan Chargers who are getting an 8 days rest between games? Remember in previous seasons, MI got a very biased schedule where they played 7-8 straight at their home. Wonder what is wrong with with scheduling with IPL as it is never not equal for all teams. And why they does not IPL try to minimize distance, for example RR has to travel south to MI and then back North to KKR and then back south to RCB?
Executioner Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 IPL was really successful in the first few seasons owing to lalit modi. after lalit modi left the IPL is run by BRAINLESS heads. each team plays 16 matches, pathetic schedul no wonder IPL is losing popularity

shinchan Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 March 20 Royal Challengers Bangalore Mumbai March 22 Kolkata Knight Riders Mumbai March 25 Chennai Super Kings Mumbai March 28 Deccan Chargers Mumbai March 30 Kings XI Punjab Mumbai April 3 Deccan Chargers Mumbai Bye Bye. I certainly do not think any other team have this much of a luxury and yet still complains constantly. first of all this is not the last seasons schedule.it was in 2010. & if you notice deccan chargers played twice at mumbai that is because due to telangana issues navi mumbai was home base for deccan.MI just got lucky there

Point still stands that MI has enjoyed some luxury that no teams has enjoyed and still complains constantly. And you being an incompetent poster with your useless explanations , you better just stay quite.

And I see you have yet to reply back on the other thread, already given up? :cantstop: Back to original topic, really consistent is the issue as certainly you want each team to have the same advantages/disadvantages for schedules of matches.

Better back your team with facts or maybe you are just a glory hunter? I hope this ends as I want to discuss seriously about the inconsistencies within IPL with competent fans instead.
