Indian captains - I may have both their names on the roster and ponder over it but won't give a prize to an individual who walked out the morning of a Test match no matter how good he was or how he removed his T-shirts.

In an earlier post, someone says "Dhoni is giving us losses after losses". It's two overseas tour losses and lets not forget Ganguly's record in the latter part of his career as captain & batsmen. Folks compare the best of Ganguly to the worst of Dhoni which is very unfair IMHO.

MSD has captained India in all the tes playing nations except Pakistan and has not lost a series there. But, the problem is that in the last 2 tours, his team lost badly, infact very badly, so that has taken a lot of sheen out of his record.

I am not even calling Dravid the best captain of the Indian team & I don't mind criticizing him for his 2007 WC. However, when it comes to Ganguly - the Gangulians go over the top and start dancing with their shirts off on the screens which I feel is over the top. It shows the narcissist attitude of Ganguly fappers. I haven't seen you post a single negative about Ganguly which clearly shows what you think about him. And yes, we don't have to agree on every topic. We can choose to disagree on this topic, on this thread. No issues from my side & I will agree with you based on what you post and not your username on other threads too. Nothing personal here. :cheers:

As I said earlier, Dravid had the best cricketing brain, But you need guts and the will to fight against the ghoras which was lacking for a long time. Ganguly was never the best in terms of cricketing decisions, but he backed the right talent and he had the eye to pick the right talent. You could have seen him the England tour ,in the post match analysis, match after match he asked Varun to be picked in the team, and if you have heard him in the post match analysis, he would say that it is important to pick the bowlers who can bowl at pace. I don't know about others, but this is what I love about this guy, he has the eye to pick the right talent. Yes, I would disagree with you some points, nothing personal dude. cheers...!!!
