Delhi are thro even if they lose all 3. They will be tied on points but its high NRR will make sure they are thro?
DD can miss out if they loose all 3 games.but it will be dependent on other teams result MI-need to win one match doesn't matter which one but if they want to finish in top two it matters.if they win against KKR they will be favourites for top two finish.only team can get 20 points will be punjab(if they win all 3 remaining games.) KKR- to be 100% sure need to win both.one win out of two will do if punjab doesn't win all 3 matches. CSK-has to win last match. RCB- need to win both matches but still be dependent on other teams result. RR- KXIP need to win all matches. still no one is sure in playoffs:nervous:

This has to be the best IPL season so far...with 7 teams still in contention for top 4 slot...with last week of IPL remaining...& this deadlock will continue down the end. Just hoping that KKR can finish in the top 2 by not making anymore selection blunders...& actually win this IPL.

Maths lessons: a) DD beats Punjab and goes through with 20 points b) MI beats KKR and goes through with 20 points c) Chennai beats Punjab (by a huge margin) and gets to 19 d) Bangalore beats Delhi and Deccan by a huge margin and reaches 19 So KKR, Chennai and Bangalore are locked at 19 - Chennai and Bangalore go through because of their superior NRR.
No, no, no, not some fictional scenarios like Bangalore defeating Delhi by huge margin. No way its happenign

No' date=' no, no, not some fictional scenarios like Bangalore defeating Delhi by huge margin. No way its happenign[/quote'] actually DD NRR wont fall too much below...unless they lost couple of matches in big way which is impossible...before CSK match their NRR .943 now its .72

No' date=' no, no, not some fictional scenarios like Bangalore defeating Delhi by huge margin. No way its happenign[/quote'] We were discussing maths. :winky: And if Gayle has his day, Bangalore CAN defeat DD by 40-50 runs. Heck, even Pune scored 191 against DD. If Warner and Viru fail, DD can have a collapse anyday with that kind of middle order.

I see. That means they have to win one more
to be safer side...odds are all with them...then u know everything can go wrong some time.. but when we are talking about chances of RCB,RR,Kings u know DD must get there :winky:
