T20 World Cup: Plans to lure cricketers with sex to fix matches

New Delhi: In a sensational revelation, a Delhi-based sex racket kingpin has claimed that their group was planning to lure cricketers into match fixing during the upcoming T20 Cricket World Cup scheduled later this year in Sri Lanka. She was arrested by the Crime Branch alongside her aide for the possession of 275 grams of cocaine. During her interrogation, Vimal Marwah, revealed that she was planning to go to Sri Lanka later this year with the help of her bookie friends. The plan to weave a éoney Trap to lure cricketers was well on hand, she claimed. The bookies, in question, organise post-match parties in Colombo wherein the cricketers are invited as guests. The officials stated that the cricketers are offered girls for sex in such parties while in return they indulge into match fixing for the bookies. The sex-racket kingpin, Vimal Marwah, was a teacher by profession in Punjab. She took to crime after being left by her husband in 2004, officials said. She was also spotted in the recent Bangladesh Premier League(BPL). It has also been alleged that she played a major role in luring cricketers into match fixing during BPL. The International Cricket Council(ICC) is also aware of the case and their officials have undertaken an investigation in the case.
