JourneyMan Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 There's always a discussion about which skills are best developed in the shortest format of the game. T20 obviously isn't going to prove much in terms of bowling or batting in test matches. With respect to ODI's, it is perhaps most relevant to the first and last 5-10 overs in ODI cricket. Bowling at the death is important in ODI's and is essential in T20. I think the best aspect is the fielding. There are a lot of catches to be taken and it's also good to see that players are making extra efforts to stop boundaries. The direct hits have been quite disappointing this season in the IPL, with a lot of chances being missed, but it's a good opportunity to practice.
Shynash21 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 For me t20,is the most challenging because it shows your range of shots, how quicky you can get set and your ability to score runs of a good length ball.In odis and test,it is easier for batsman as they can afford to defend or leave the good length balls.
