Sehwag1830 Posted May 26, 2012 Author Posted May 26, 2012 anyone knows how many IPL teams will be participating? 3. And there will be a qualifier tournament in which if MI win, they will become 4th team.
yoda Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 No Mumbai? CL :fail: Mumbai hasn't even qualified yet. :winky:
achilles Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I'm a bit baffled to see Chennai hosting everything and then some more. Instead of Hyderabad, they could've opted for Gujarat. And for Chrissake, after everything the Pakistani's have done, we're inviting them for mehmaan-nawazi in our country? Edit- Meanwhile, the organising committee is still awaiting the clearance of Sialkot Stallions' participation in the Champions League from the central government. :woot:
Sidhoni Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I thought it will be in Aus this year. As the format was - India, Sa, India , Aus

superstar Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I'm a bit baffled to see Chennai hosting everything and then some more. Instead of Hyderabad, they could've opted for Gujarat. :woot: Chennai is hosting IPL since they were the previous edition winners. That is in the tournament rules. Given the crowd turnout for the play off in Chennai, I doubt CL is going to be conducted there. Most likely it is going to be in Delhi and Kolkatta. There are rumors that Gujarat may have an IPL team next year. You can think of conducting tournaments then...of course you need to win first or threaten to leave ipl :winky: http://www.ipl-schedule.net/gujarat-gaurav-to-become-the-10th-ipl-team/
superstar Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Our leaders lack certain parts of their anatomy. Do we not keep voting those same fools over and over again. HOw come Mumbaikars elected the same incompetent govt is beyond me.
achilles Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Our leaders lack certain parts of their anatomy. True that :hatsoff: Do we not keep voting those same fools over and over again. HOw come Mumbaikars elected the same incompetent govt is beyond me. And who do you want us to choose? Goondas? Congress atleast doesn't treat Hafta-vasooli as a part of government functioning. There is a reason why, despite so much terrorism, so much corruption, Congress keeps coming to power.
1983-2011 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 should have been spread around india, could have chosen 1 stadium form 5 zones
