superstar Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/current/story/567527.html So star now owns 1. All Indian rights inside India 2. All UK rights in Asia 3. All Aus rights in Asia 4. All ICC events 5. Champions league T20 I think an increase in price for the channel is on cards. Advertisers are going to have to cough up more money as well. Wonder what will happen if BCCI is not happy with Star. One monopoly vs another :nervous::nervous:
Precambrian Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 BCCI will easily do a Sony Max if they think Star is playing around too much, am sure. However not liking Murdoch controlling the sportswaves one bit.
Sachin=GOD Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Thats good. They have the best telecast out of all sports networks in India :nice:
deathmonger Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 TEN has almost as same. SL,Pak,WI,SA. Who has NZ?
achilles Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Only important NZ series are telecasted. Set Max broadcasts NZ matches.
