Guest Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Bits and pieces player fails with the bat. he will swing banana
VRV Singh Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Calm down, he has been good with the bat since returning and no one said he'd score every game. I guess you would rather have Sreesanth at 7

It's a bit like a crap batsman scoring runs and makes them hang around longer. He is simply not good enough with the ball v top quality teams.

Yeah India has Steyns and Morkels coming out of its ears. They have tried every alternative under the sun at #7- his retard brother, Sir Garry Jadeja - everything has its limitations e.g. only good for slow pitches, and in some cases they were plain crap. Even I am not convinced about his bowling but I would guess he has done better than VK and Yadav since returning. You are viewing things from your usual parallel universe where Sreesanth is not infact the most expensive bowler of all time but a phaasst bowling wicket taking sex god

Summary: In Aus WC we will play 4 bowlers only. IP can only get in as a specliast bowler and I don't think he is one of our top 3 seamers. No7 will be a batsman.

Who knows what will happen it's 3 years away...does not seem like there is much confidence in part timers apart from Yuvraj who works on slow wickets.
CG Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 Dilshan charging down to IP :giggle: if you have 2 catches dropped ,its more desperation from dilshan, irfan bowled pretty well
Ultimate_Game Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 First we had Dravid dropping all those catches in slips and now fatso Sehwag is hell-bent in doing the same in odis  Feel for Pathan as he has to bowl with such nincompoops on the field and slips
Dravid_TheWall Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 if you have 2 catches dropped ' date='its more desperation from dilshan, irfan bowled pretty well[/quote'] Yeah but I just don't see him as one of our best seamers..I'll change my mind if he starts taking wickets when it matters and at the death in pressure situations. Right now I can't see him as an opening bowler in ODI.
Ultimate_Game Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 ^Penisface I thought you were talking about your avatar :giggle:
BERGKAMP Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 ^Penisface man you love your mediocre sportsmen don't you, firstly scott parker and now crapthan. next you will be telling us all how great rajat bhatia is and should be in the test team :haha:
1983-2011 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 3.5 Pathan to Dilshan, 2 runs, 81.2 mph, Dropped The shot wasn't too pretty either, full and wide, Dilshan threw everything at it, Sehwag cupped his hands above his head at first slip and the ball deflected past the keeper and down to fine leg, it came on much quicker than expected

CG Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012 :two_thumbs_up: Really did u watch the match that bowl swung and other drop was of a bouncer.in odis his job is to take wickets with the new ball and he is playing as a allrounder not seamer
podi wije Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 irfan is a good bowler bt not a all rounder by any means.yeah he had some batting successes here and there.bt that isn't good enough to play at top seven.
