Sidhoni
Gujarat have dealt the crucial blows to reduce MP to 212 for 8. Naman Ojha fell for 71. Gujarat scored 355. Link to comment
Number
Has any one followed this debutant guy Jiwanjot Singh from Punjab before ? Scored century in his debut FC game. Punjab team has some exciting young players. Also good effort from Gony on a flat track. Link to comment

He's only a year older than Mandeep. 5 of Punjab's 7 batsmen (one yet to bat so doesn't have average) average 50 or above with the bat. They should cruise to title. Unfortunately Bhaji will probably replace Ojha in Test side and Yuvi will cement his spot in Tests. But still they have enough to win easily. Sandeep Sharma also did well, Rahul didn't play. http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-domestic-2012/content/player/34488.html This guy looks good too. Link to comment

We both know you are not serious. :giggle: Also Manan Vohra will start getting chances into the team in a few years time. He is also a good talent. Sandeep will play for India in sometime soon I feel. Was Uday Kaul keeping in this game or he has started playing as a pure batsman ? Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
^Kaul is keeper. If Gurkeerat gets 50, that will make it 6 out of 7 batsmen averaging above 50. With a 100 today Goel showed he isn't too bad either. Is there any other team that compares? Sandeep Sharma, Gony, Rahul Sharma are not too bad as far as domestic bowlers go either. Link to comment

Cause 2 of them .5 below 50 really makes a difference. And Jeevanjot will be above 100 when dismissed. Anyway which minnow do you support? :giggle: Fact of the matter is I can't see anyone competing with this star studded batting line up led by Mandeep. Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
@Saurav01 do you have any idea how badly Punjab would wreck Bengal right now? Compare the stats of that feeble batting line up to Punjab's one. Tiwary is the only good player for Bengal (at domestic level). Obviously Bengal have the advantage of having no players like Yuvi good enough to get in national side. Even bowlers they only have Danda. On the other hand while Bhaji is here (although temporary) there is no weak link in Punjab bowlers either when Rahul plays. Gony, Sandeep, Rahul, Bhaji (temporary) is a strong domestic attack. There will no way all those one-match wonders will cross the average of 50 in this match or even after the season. How many domestic tournaments has your star-studded team won in the last 3 years? :giggle: Link to comment
