Roshanrocks Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 and the one with more than 100 from the next best guy. This is incredibly hard to do in a test match let alone a ODI ... but Boss has done it 5 times SR Tendulkar 5 ST Jayasuriya 2 Tamim Iqbal 2 SC Ganguly 2 AC Gilchrist 2 BC Lara 2 H Masakadza 2 ML Hayden 2 wow :canabis: yummy i guess the 5 ocassions will include the scores of 150+ right...like the 200*, 175, 186 etc?
Roshanrocks Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 fantsastic.. scoring 100+ runs than the nearest collleague in a ODI game.. wow But Tamim Iqbal could overtake that someday, considering the difference in class with his colleagues
akshayxyz Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 As impressive as this recent stat is, it also reflects the gap within the team ( through most part of Sachin's career). And the indicator - why the team did not do that well as a unit, how it distorts some people's view of him to "not a match winner".
akshayxyz Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 It would be interesting to know whether frequency of this 'gap' innings have reduced in last 4 years.
Roshanrocks Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 BossBHai ...i need more :canabis: keep them coming

To outscore your colleague those many times is unbelievable. The difference between Sacin and others is far greater than we actually realize. Only if the other players could support him a little more, he could have done so much more for India.
dial_100 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Man... Its getting harder and harder to find Punta in these lists. Can we have smart page, that will highlight Punter's name wherever it appears. :giggle: Jokes apart, as a player, he is extremely possitive guy. Thats why he scores lot more than others even in adverse conditions. The difference is others may match him sometimes when going is easier or favorable. Funny thing is people only compare everyone with SRT when going is easier. I think some of the stats are spitting out exact level of his greatness. Bossy, great job!!!
Roshanrocks Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 BossBHai how about Sachin outscoring other players... inclusive of opposition batsmen i need more :canabis:
