Chandan Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 The stats are just mind boggling, Bheem. And I pity the fans of our country even more when I see them abusing the legends like this.
living Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 The only person IMO who can come close/beat SRT's average as an opener is HAYDEN. OMFG that guy is a FAKING BEAST!!!!!
living Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 If Aus keeps playing India, his average will go up by 5-6 points no problem. We need to figure out this monster. Reminds of the days when I used to play against pathans and get clobbered all over the park :mama:
zubinpepsi Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Naah Strike rate is a good 10 points lower than SRT and the Avg is 5 points lower as well .... Sorry no cigar. Hayden ODIs 149 144 15 5760 181* 44.65 7292 78.99 10 33 592 85 63 0 Sachin ODIs 399 389 37 15563 186* 44.21 18234 85.35 41 84 1683 164 118 0 hayden has a higher average....

Bongosamaj Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Sachin definitely is a vital cog in ODI team but the guy deserves to be dropped (or he should retire) from Test cricket. He no longer has it in him to be a good test batsman.

Bongosamaj Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 did you not watch the england test series? :haha: Yes i did. I watched, yet again, as a once-great Test batsman shat all over the place playing like a mediocre hit-or-miss guy, clueless against a dibbly dobbly without a hope in hell against real batsmen (eg: Aussie or Saffie batsmen) called Sidebottom. I watched, with equal amounts of disappointment and pity on how a once-great batsman that is over the hill puttered around and failed to average 40 in the test matches YET AGAIN. Apart from easy runs against Bangladesh, its been 7 or 8 consecutive series that Tendy's shat all over the place failing to average even 40. Oh how the mighty have fallen !
bigdhoni7 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 :hysterical: please find me tendulkar replacement plz! :giggle:
Bongosamaj Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 :hysterical: please find me tendulkar replacement plz! :giggle: We will find a steady replacement once we start to TRY replacing the guy and drop him, along with giving test newbies like Yuvraj, Tiwary, sharma, utthapa, etc. a shot or two.
bigdhoni7 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 yuvraj had his chances and failed to capitalize on them. rohit and robin are both attacking odi batsmen. i dont know much about tiwary but he hasnt even played a game for india yet.
