there we could afford that attitude as we had Sachin,Dravid,Kumble,VVS to back up aggro with performances.we dont now. Kohli over does the in your face thing.Dada always kept it in check.Kohli goes abusive most often

dada loved a scrap and would take shirt of, go out late for toss in flip flops and abuse at oppo. Kohli can do same. Kihli is a lot more controlled in his aggro then people realise. He uses it as tactic. Plus our own players needs abuse from a captain

Pujara is quite new to the scene, Kohli has been around for a while. That's why.

What Kohli has that Pujara lacks in Test Cricket? Pujara too looks like one who will serve Indian Cricket for long long time! Then why no one talks about Pujara as future Test Captain? :((

Because he does not have any visible Tattoos. Tattoos make u tough. Also we have not witnessed him mouthing any obscenities or throwing a tantrum. These are some things you need to exhibit on the cricket field to prove you are a tough and aggressive sportsman. Scoring runs against tough opponents is easy.

++++++++ IMO Kumble had more passion and aggression than all these youngsters combined and he didn't need to say anything to show it - his eyes and body language were enough to intimidate the best of opponents. Guys like Kohli should learn a thing or two from former greats like Kumble, Dravid, Ganguly etc.

Swear. remember watching an ODI in Goa. The lads came on for a warmup. Everyone was doing laps around the ground. Sreesanth at full steam, gives up with less than half the circumference of the ground complete. Pretty much everyone else gave up soon after, Dhoni, Yuvi etc. But Kumble kept on. He probably ran the circumference of the ground all alone a good 5 times. The man was quite and composed, but by God he was steely and determined as any one could ever be.

Because he is still very new to Intl. Cricket. Kohli has already established himself as a good batsman in ODIs, member of world cup winner team so he has better experience at intl level. Also his English is much better compared to Pujara or Rahane.
