Guest dada_rocks Posted September 5, 2007 Share Posted September 5, 2007 this sort of things are called columnd FPN in sensors and laser crystalization ( a process step of polysilicon based TFT technology used in LCDS ) column defect in displays.. So if the the backplane of LCD is screwed well only way out is replaing the LCD panel.. before doing that u might like to check whether the problem comes from mother-board by connecting the laptop to some external monitor ..
