Better and fresh Bhendi's! :woot: It's a complete redevelopment of the entire area and building of modern skyscrapers and apartments. The reason I'm excited about this is because Bhendi Bazaar is a "minority" ghetto that you find in most Indian cities - cramped, dirty etc. But the minority here have decided to renovate the entire area out of their own pocket and embrace modernity. This gives me hope that there are certain sections of "minorities" are eager to go forward and become a part of the mainstream rather than cling to imagined injustices against them - mostly in places like Israel, Burma etc which is not even relevant to the Indian discourse.
