Clarke
Only a paki can come up with this logic. Any cooperation with the paki army would have jeopardized the mission it self' date= given that OBL was a practically a state guest living in the very lap of the paki army. Also, any cooperation of the paki army would immediately become known to the Taliban any way. No way these things can be kept hidden in paki-land. Thirdly, how to you explain the paki army extracting vengeance on the doctor Shakil Afridi ? That's what one can guess by connecting some dots; General Nadeem Taj anyone ? Pioneer
Lets just assume for a moment that what you are saying is right - What that essentially means is that the Pakistani govt knew all along about the American plan to raid the Abbottabad compound, but laid low in the hope that they could simply blame it all on the Americans later. Pardon for the crude analogy, but is there a bigger proverbial rape of a country's sovereignty than have 2 helicopter full of foreign special forces land less than a mile from the country's premier military academy to conduct a Hollywood style assassination of the world's most wanted man? Well yeah thats why I find it pretty amazing that NO ONE in the Pak setup knew. Anyways it was just a thought.
Debutant
Had the pakis even got a sniff of the raid then OBL would definitely have been shifted to some other safe place.
