Praveen Kumar 'headbutted' out of Indian team Praveen Kumar has reportedly been permanently dropped from the Indian team after an incident involving his favorite pastime. Kumar was reportedly angry at Billy Bowden when Bowden did not straighten his finger and headbutted Bowden. Bowden had to go to the hospital and Marais Erasmus, who Kumar was annoyed with for his LBW decisions, was brought in as a replacement. India went on to lose the second Test against Zimbabwe in 2015 by an innings and 400 runs. In a statement, N Srinivasan, the BCCI chairman, stated, "We know Praveen has a lot of talent but he cannot play with this attitude."
