Discrimination between Tamilnaduand Kerala

The Central Government irrespective who has been ruling in the centre has been neglecting the Tamils. The recent stand by the Central Government in respect of the Italian Marines has highlighted the fact. Two of the Kerala Fishermen were killed bythe Italian Marines. This was follwoed by their arrest. Subsequently they were permitted to temporarily go to their country to cast thir votes in the election. After going there, the Italian Government did not want to send tthem back under some ruse. The tough stand taken by the Central Government forced the Italian Government to return the Italian Marines back to India for trial. This clearly exposes the double standards adopted by the Central Government. Invariably every week, fishermen from Tamilnadu are being harassed bythe Sri Lankan Navy. The Indian Navy and the Coast Guard are silent spectators and have never protected the Fishermen even atleast once. All the political parties of Tamilnadu must unite and expose the Congress Government of its dual standards.

What kind of false equivalence is this? The fishermen stray into Lankan waters and cross international borders. That doesnt give any right to the Lankan navy to arrest and torture them, but it is a diplomatic issue that has to be dealt behind closed doors in a firm manner. The Italian soldiers on the other hand killed unarmed fisherman who were in Indian waters (the EEE) and were breaking no law by fishing there. They should be convicted in Indian courts for the murder of Indian citizens.
