fineleg
Mohd.Asif, Umar Gul and Shahid Afridi (bowling and slog-batting) - prevailing over them is the key if India needs to win today. SEHWAG - will he play for us? If he gets in the groove, we can hope for a good start. Link to comment
kumble_rocks
I more interested in Yuvi versus Pak spinners Afridi and Hafeez . Game will be decided based on whoever wins that battle , in my opinion. Sehwag has to play against Pakistan . He is gonna belt Umar Gul , Asif and co. Link to comment
Gaurav
What if Sehwag is not fit? Link to comment
fineleg
What if Sehwag is not fit? IMO, there is a 60-70% chance, Sehwag will NOT play. He was in severe pain, and I dont think he is recovering that easily. I hope the physio can work some magic and get him in good shape temporarily at least! Link to comment
fineleg
Afridi has been an attacking threat, spinning his leg-breaks hard and fizzing through the rapid top-spinners. But the difference between Pakistan and other teams has come with Umar Gul who has bowled his four overs in the latter half of the innings. "We worked hard leading into the Twenty20 with training camps," Gul said. "It allowed me to work on my bowling, especially bouncers, yorkers and slower balls and I discussed with Geoff [Lawson] about how to bowl. I have taken the new ball throughout my career, but this was a decision for the team and I was happy to do it." Link to comment
