carnish Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Not a quality bowler' date=' he has been lucky most of the time, has a quite poor average in England, Srilanka and UAE. He has never been a threat to English batsmen. Media hyped up the bloke.[/quote'] Kellogs has a new ID :agree:
KeyboardWarrior Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Steyn is a good bowler but in tests he cant bowl good on patta wkts.
Crookbond Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 There have been reports of boxing day test match coming back this year and that's one which will obviously be played at Durban. I guess centurion and cape town will be the other two venues. You are right - the boxing day match will be at Durban. I don't think India will play at Centurion; it will be Jo'burg.

GodAnderson Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 special K's nephew is on ICF now too :nervous: Who is special K? I am just calling a spade a spade, not to mention he hasn't fared well against Tendulkar unlike Jimmy. Indian batsmen can feast on the South African bowlers. Phillander shouldn't be shown respect, Dhawan and Rohit can show him his place. About Steyn, hit him a couple of boundaries and attack him like KP did and he'll become mentally weak. Steyn is all hype.

Big Indian fan base at Centurion ... We played a test there last time, which we drew(nearly won) I guess. I think they will opt for Centurion because they can get more Indian fans to come to the ground. But then again, they may just go ahead and select the grounds with the most greenery in the middle.

We lost it by an innings - we were shot out below 150 in the 1st innings IIRC.

Ok then I guessed wrong, but that would mean they would be more inclined to play a test at Centurion again. BTW, we won at Durban, if we lost at Centurion, where was it that we nearly won the game??
